Shoghi Effendi ,Guardian of the Bahai Faith said:

" the object of life to a Bahá’í is to promote the oneness of mankind. The whole object of our lives is bound up with the lives of all human beings: not a personal salvation we are seeking, but a universal one.”

Principles of the Baha'i Faith

The independent & unfettered search after Truth,

The oneness of the entire human race, the pivotal principle and fundamental doctrine of the Faith;

The equality of men and women, the two wings of the human bird.

The basic unity of all religions;

The condemnation of all forms of prejudice, whether religious, racial, class or national;

The harmony between religion and science;

The introduction of compulsory education for all

The adoption of a universal auxiliary language;

The abolition of the extremes of wealth and poverty;

That Work done to serve mankind is equal to Worship

The glorification of Justice as the ruling principle in human society, and Religion as a bulwark for the protection of all peoples and nations;

The establishment of a Permanent and Universal Peace as the supreme goal of all mankind.
