DO NOT BOOK MACHU PICCHU before you watch this video, EVEN IF YOU ARE NOT DOING VAN LIFE IN PERU! Waynapicchu is the iconic mountain that rises up and serves as the backdrop in most photos you have ever seen of Machu Picchu and you have likely never heard of it. This is an add-on hike to Machu Picchu and in my opinion, the absolute best part of the entire experience and definitely offers the best panoramic views of the entire valley and of the ancient structures and terraces of Machu Picchu. After staring at the giant peak, I couldn't see a potential path up this jagged mount, it just seems too sheer. As you move closer you quickly see the magic of this sacred place and quickly learn the only path is straight up. THIS SPOT IS LEGEND!
