In this solo winter camping adventure, I demonstrate bushcraft and survival skills deep in a snow-covered forest, where temperatures drop to -12°C. Without using modern equipment like a sleeping bag, I rely entirely on nature to survive. I build a natural shelter using tree branches next to a moss-covered, snow-laden rock and light a warm, steady fire with dry wood collected from the surroundings.
To regain strength after a long day in the wild, I roast wild venison and fat over the open fire and prepare a soothing forest herbal tea using natural ingredients, including thyme, dried lemon mint, and cinnamon.
