I’m Not Scared Anymore

This is one I wrote today about some things that have been happening in my life recently. Hope you like it.

So I’m still living with my parents
Got plenty of bills to pay
The job market’s just so bad now
Makes me not want to stay

Maybe I’ll move up to Alaska
Or head on down to Tennessee
Get away from all the factories
Cuz it feels like they’re choking me

But sometimes, in the nighttime
When I look up at the stars
I see God in the reflections
Of the light that they give off

So now I’m just waiting
For a signal or a sign
Maybe she’ll come back, who knows
But life goes on in the meantime
