In today’s video, we're testing the Mobiator DS-12 D2 12-inch Shallow Mount Subwoofer, paired with the Timpano TPT-500.4 Mini 4-Channel Amplifier to see how this compact combo handles real-world bass demands. With 1400W peak power and 350W RMS, this dual 2-ohm subwoofer delivers clean, deep lows while maintaining a shallow 3.58” mounting depth — perfect for vehicles with limited space.

Built with a competition-grade pressed paper cone and high-roll rubber surround, the DS-12 D2 is made for durability and impactful sound. With a frequency response down to 29Hz, 85 dB sensitivity, and 12” surface area, we put it to the test with various music genres and SPL checks. We’re powering it using the Timpano TPT-500.4 Mini Amp, a Brazilian-designed Class D amplifier pushing 4x125W at 2 ohms — bridgeable to give even more punch.
