A Tennessee Holler reporter asked House Speaker Cameron Sexton about the the optics of the GOP's TSU board takeover were bad. Sexton tried to turn the tables on the reporter and said Democrats were involved in the process behind closed doors

During Thursday's House floor debate, Representative Antonio Perkins questioned why TSU was the only institution that faced five audits in one year.
