Harrell Tuner trial on Vudoo V22 with Eley Tenex. This particular lot of Tenex shot pretty well recently without a tuner, so chosen to run a little 'tuner' test.
Todays effort involved 3 shot groups on settings "0" through "475" in 25 'click' (full rotation) increments.
Originally planned on fine tuning best groups but that did not work out today.
I had 4-5 groups with less vertical stringing than the majority. Groups "0" and "25" have captured my attention and next outing I will most likely explore "-5", "0", "5", "10", "15", "20", "25" and "30", to see where that leads.
Likewise, groups 350 and 375 show some consistency and lower vertical string. So, same idea,"345", "350", "355", "360", "365", "370", "375" and "380" for in front of, through and behind the spread looking for evidence of end muzzle node. After which 'fine tuning' to identify the "sweet spot".
No conclusive setting today, but those few 3 shot groups will be visited in the future for consistency and finer evaluation.
Vudoo was chambered with Lapua in original design.
I fired about 100 rounds of Eley today. Twice failure to leave the magazine...flat nose (?). Required a little assist. 98 rounds flawless. No issue with the chamber.
