Ingles Field Gap is a bidirectional singletrack trail that is great fun both going up or down and it can be done as an out-and-back run or as a loop after hitting Green's Lick which is what I did in this video.

The trail itself starts with a fast top as the start is a lot steeper than the rest of the trail, transforming into a trail where you will have to put some pedal strokes in to keep speed but you'll be happy to do so, do you know that perfect level of steepness where you're so comfortable that you go faster than you usually do and let yourself pedal a bit to keep pushing? This trail is like that.

If you're in Bent Creek I'd recommend doing a loop from the parking lot to hit Green's Lick and then Ingles Field Gap, best part is that the trek from the trailhead to the split where both the aforementioned trails meet is a lot of fun as you'll see in the begining of this video.
