Kaffe Fassett inspirerad by Wales, Check these Gorgeous quilts out and more at Powis Castle Enjoy!

Kaffe Fassett has been to Wales and Powis Castle to get inspiration for his new collection of textiles and quilts. I first fell in love with Kaffe Fassett in the 80s with his bold knitting patterns. I love the bright colours and the intricate patterns. The quilts are being shown to the public at Powis Castle just outside Welshpool and it is well worth a visit. It is a good idea to bring a torch as the castle is a bit dark in places.
I feel full of inspiration to get into my own creative art, wouldn't be surprised if there will be some Kaffe Fassett-inspired creative painting exercises in the coming days.
