This brand new RTS surprised me! Today I'm going to show you a modern take on a retro-styled real-time strategy game that's releasing into early access but I was not expecting it to be this solid. I take command of a faction in this game and the developers jumped into a multiplayer match to not only show how gameplay worked but to also talk about the development and future of Battlefall: State of Conflict.

They're a couple of indie devs who really do seem to care about making a game the best they can and you'll see some details today that really show that. Also to note, this is the start of early access and we're playing across the world here with us being in the UK and Australia, with no desyncs and solid performance, and the game isn't just multiplayer there's singleplayer voice acted campaigns with stories, and you can also play the campaigns in co-op with a friend where you might find it's a different experience altogether. In today's gaming landscape that's starved of RTS, it's encouraging to see passionate developers who are giving their all and the fact that you can see that here is nice.
