A former competitive equestrian who trained and coached in Canada and the Netherlands, Cydney Lebovitz traded her stirrups for pedals in 2009 after discovering a love of indoor cycling. She was raised by Spynga, a well-known studio in Toronto, and has honed her craft at various studios over the past decade including Pure Fitness, Quad, Yogathletics, Cyclebar and Lagree Fitness.

Cydney was the lead instructor and assistant general manager at Cyclebar in Toronto for three years prior to its closing as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic. She loves training instructors and fostering talent almost as much as rocking out on the stage! Currently she teaches indoor cycling at Lifetime Athletics in Canada and has started her own virtual home studio, RWC, where she curates live and on demand classes to cater to the needs of her clients with home bikes. “Teaching out of my own home has given me a renewed sense of freedom and excitement for indoor cycling” Cydney shared, “keeping people motivated to stay fit and healthy is a rewarding venture and creating good energy in the world is exactly what we all need right now”.

Balancing a career in Psychology with her fitness pursuits, Cydney believes that fostering wellness both physiologically and psychologically is the key to success. She completed her Masters in Psychology in 2016 and is a Registered Psychotherapist in Canada. In addition to her RWC full-body cycle classes that incorporate weights and core work, Cydney works therapeutically one-on-one with many clients, helping them navigate change and lead fuller, more fulfilling lives.
