In this video I have explained about the inter caste marriage incentive scheme i.e. Dr. Savita Ben Ambedkar Inter-caste Marriage Scheme Rajasthan recently upgraded to 10 lakh Rs by the Rajasthan government to promote inter caste marriages. Under the revised Dr. Savita Ben Ambedkar Inter-caste Marriage Scheme, Rs 5 lakh will be put in a fixed deposit for eight years, while the remaining Rs 5 lakhs will be deposited in a joint bank account for the newlyweds. Tolal of 10 lakh Rs will be given to couples who performs inter caste marriage.
The boy or a girl belonging to the Scheduled Caste category who has married an upper caste Hindu boy or girl will get the benefit of this scheme. Along with this, the bride and groom should be natives of Rajasthan. The age of either of the couple should not be more than 35 years. They should not have been convicted in any criminal case and should also be unmarried.
On applying within 1 month of marriage, incentive amount is given to the beneficiary. Marriage registration certificate issued by the competent authority or officer's office will have to be presented as proof of marriage of the couple doing inter-caste marriage. Also, the combined income of the couple should not exceed Rs 2.50 lakh.
