1. Open Gmail and log in to your account.
2. Click the gear icon in the top right corner to open "Settings."
3. In the drop-down menu, select "See all settings."
4. Navigate to the "Advanced" tab within the settings.
5. Scroll down to "Custom keyboard shortcuts" and enable it.
6. Scroll down and click "Save changes" at the bottom of the page.
7. Once Gmail reloads, return to "Settings" and go to the "Keyboard Shortcuts" tab.
8. Customize any shortcuts you want, or leave them as default.
9. Click "Save changes" again after you're done customizing.
10. Test your shortcuts:
• Press C to compose a new email.
• Press R to reply to an email.
• Press F to forward an email.
• Press E to archive an email.
• Press / (slash) to instantly search your inbox.
