Описание к видео Sexually transmitted infections (STIs): Global Youth united to end antimicrobial resistance (AMR)

Sexually transmitted infections (STIs) represent a serious public health threat because of the widespread antimicrobial resistance to most medicines used in many parts of the world. STI pathogens with potential AMR include gonorrhoea, mycoplasma genitalium and trichomoniasis.

Got a cough.. that's rough! Feeling sweaty... must be heavy! Caught an infection... nothing but rejection! FEELING ILL... THERE'S NO PILL!
Sticking to and finishing your treatment when you have an STI is the best thing you can do to stop antimicrobial resistance.
Correctly using a condom every time you have sex is the smartest way to protect yourself from STIs.
Getting yourself tested for STIs is the only way to find out if you have an infection.
Speak to your healthcare provider.
We can all play a part in reducing antimicrobial resistance.
