Set free after passion

Описание к видео Set free after passion

El-Baroudi (1839-1904) was a prominent Egyptian poet, diplomat, military figure, and the PM of Egypt for several months after Urabi revolt.

He spoke Arabic, Turkish, Persian, and English, and was known as "lord of sword and pen" due to his excellence in Arabic poetry and his performance in the Cretan, and Russo-Turkish Wars under the Ottoman flag.

This is one of his works in which he follows a classical romantic theme related to the Bedouin lifestyle.
