Unleashing Wilderness: 3-Day Loch Trool Wild Camping Expedition in Stunning Scotland!

Описание к видео Unleashing Wilderness: 3-Day Loch Trool Wild Camping Expedition in Stunning Scotland!

This Week I head back to Scotland for a 3 Day Wild Camping Expedition On Loch Trool. We'll be fishing, Bushcrafting and eating some of the most amazing food all on the shores of this fabulous Loch!
Loch Trool is a freshwater loch that boasts some fantasstic fishing with Brown Trout in abundance, will we catch?
It is approximately 3 miles long and 0.5 miles wide, and is surrounded by scenic hills and forests. You really do feel as though your cut off from the world (this isn't so in the summer time I believe) It's deep in the Dark Sky's area so views should have been amazing but unfortunately for us it was cloudy.

We got there nice and early Saturday morning but then had a massive slog getting the gear portaged over to where Ginger had made camp by the shoreline. After that we made camp and it was time to relax, catch up with old and new friends and stuff our faces with classic camp food.
I opted to make a hot and spicy Keema curry on the first night, Matty made his unbelievably (and still can't be beaten) Venison Stew the second night and Ginger cooked us the best Haggis, Tatties and Neeps I've ever tasted on the third and final night.

I'd wanted comfort on this camp so went a little stupid and brought the hot tent and loads of dried wood which I think helped in breaking one of my wheels on the canoe trolly!

Heading out on the Loch the first day was awesome. With Crayfish net in hand we headed out to explore, WEould there be Crayfish here? The locals I'm sure would be hoping not but I was here to catch so fingers crossed they were here.
Beautiful, stunning scenery everywhere you looked, so many photo opportunities to be had and the sense of peace was all around you.

I had the most relaxing time with the lads and made two more new friends, Mark a good friend of both Ginger and Matty and also Paul, a real top chap who was also camping there by the Loch. We shared food, stories and he also brought his guitar and amp out on the last evening to serenade us as Ginger cooked our evening meal.

I'd like to thank Paul for giving me the permission to use a couple of the songs he played us. He really was a class act!

Thanks you and I hope you enjoy the video.

Also, if you would like to help the channel out by helping me purchase new kit such as another budget tent to take it to the breaking point and give another full and honest review, please consider "Buying Me A Coffee" by clicking on the link below. Thanks so much!
