The Rolling Stones - Steel Wheels Tour Rehearsals - Philadelphia, JFK Stadium, August 28th 1989.
During summer 1989, The Rolling Stones rehearsed for their "Steel Wheels" North American Tour. The old JFK Stadium was closed down for security reasons a few weeks ago (the last concert in this place was a Grateful Dead concert July 7, 1989 ) . But the stones were allowed to use the stadium on 28, 29 and 30 August for their rehearsals before the first show on August 31 at the Veterans stadium right next.
This is the 28th rehearsals, soundboard recording.
This is a soundboard recording. This means that between songs you do not hear from the audience, but you can sometimes hear Mick Jagger discuss with the band and the crew for the latest settings, sometimes you will hear them joking, sometimes you will not hear anything for a few seconds... but that's normal.
