The BMW M2 is a version of the BMW 2 Series automobile developed by BMW's motorsport division, BMW M GmbH. The M2 is unofficially considered as an indirect successor to the BMW 1 Series M Coupé. The second-generation M2 (G87) was shown to the public ahead of its debut at Motorclassica in Melbourne, Australia, in October 2022.
