Must Eat Portuguese Dishes | Lisbon Food Tour

Portugal is a stunning country with an amazing food scene. I briefly traveled around Portugal and when I arrived in Lisbon I knew I had to record a food tour with some must eat Portuguese dishes.

The Portuguese dishes I tried in this video are:
1. Prego no Pao
2. Pasteis de Belem (the inspiration for Pastel de Nata)
3. Pasteis de Bacalhau
4. Galinha a Portuguesa
5. Salada de Feijao-Frade com Atum
6. Salada de Bacalhau e Grao
7. Bacalhau com Natas
8. Sopa de Legumes

Prior to visiting Lisbon, I was in Porto and got to try many other traditional Portuguese dishes that aren't included in this video. While these dishes may not be the most famous dishes, I definitely think trying bacalhau (cod), prego no pao (steak sandwich) and pasteis de belem (the original pastel de nata) are essential which you visit Lisbon! All of these dishes were so incredible though that I can't pick a favorite!

I wish I could have also done a Porto food tour but sadly I didn't have time. I really hope I can visit Portugal again soon though because it had the most amazing vibe. The singers/musicians performing on the streets were the best of any country I have visited, the food was incredible, the clothing and pop-up shops were amazing and most of all the people of Portugal were so incredibly hospitable and passionate about sharing their culture. Thank you to the people of Portugal and I hope to see you again soon!
