IE 5.5 on WinME (VBox)

Here is Internet Explorer running on Windows ME. Microsoft new version of Windows came with Internet Explorer version 5.5. I'm using the Wayback Proxy for internet, which was started on my host using the following command-line option:
java -jar waybackmachineproxy.jar --httpServerPort "1280" --httpServerHost "192.168.56.1" --timestamp "20021001080044"

This is what the internet was like in 2002, as the WinME user base started their upgraded to WinXP. On the whole, there really isn't too much to say about IE. Oldskool IE is well...IE.

VirtualBox is emulating a multimedia gaming PC with a single core allocated to it. The host has a Ryzen 5 5500 6-Core CPU running at 4.2GHz. There is 512MB's of RAM allocated to the VM, along with a VESA 1.2 Compatible display adapter with 3D passthrough acceleration enabled via the SoftGPU drivers. An AMD PCnet NIC is installed, along with an AC'97 audio device, with an Intel 828011AA chipset, enabled. Windows is running at the screen resolution of 800 by 600, 32-bit color depth. Windows ME is installed.
