Baraye - SCARF tribute

SCARF - Socially Conscious ARtists Foundation is a Redmond, WA based non-profit organization. Its mission is to "Create and foster art that brings awareness around social issues to galvanize change."

Moved by the plight of the people of Iran and motivated by the Women, Life, Freedom movement around the world, the dancers were particularly inspired by the lyrics and music of "Baraye" by Shervin Hajipour. Under the artistic direction of Dr. Joyce Paul Siamak, both trained and untrained dancers came together to lend their voice through this choreography.
