Supreme Court Upholds J&K Delimitation | Massive Setback For 'Doubters'? | The Newshour Debate

The Supreme Court Of India has upheld the J&K Delimitation move. On Monday, the Apex Court dismissed a plea that challenged the delimitation exercise carried out for redrawing the Legislative Assembly and Lok Sabha constituencies in the newly carved-out Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir. This has also paved the way for elections in the Union Territory. Discussing this, Sushil Pandit said, “Elections in J&K right now will be premature. The conditions are far from normal. PM Package employees in the valley, have quit in thousands as they fear for their safety. Plus, the Jihadi mindset has extended to Rajouri, Poonch & Doda." Watch to know more!
