Unboxing the Xiaomi Mix Flip, with a hands-on review of this foldable phone's camera setup, gaming performance, battery life and beyond. The Xiaomi Mix Flip boasts some of the best specs of any compact fold smartphone in 2024. But is it good enough to convert sceptics and is it better vs Samsung's Galaxy Z Flip 6 plus the Moto RAZR 50 Ultra?

The hardware here is some of the most impressive from a mini foldable right now. The Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 means excellent gaming performance, while the Xiaomi Mix Flip's battery life is also among the best, beating the Z Flip 6. Likewise, this phone offers fast charging, although there's no support for wireless recharging.

However, there are some limitations. For one, you can't run any app you like on that cover screen. We're talking a handful of supported goodies and as this is the Chinese model of Xiaomi Mix Fold, no Google. HyperOS is as slick as ever, but expect a lot of crapware!
