Karli Ackermann has always been about doing things a little different. My daughter started modeling in Jhb when she was 4, and through hard work and dedication she has won numerous pageants. Life brought a few changes and just before her 9th birthday we moved to the beautiful little town of Hazyview in Mpumalanga. Even though we tried to continue with modeling training in Nelspruit, her school schedule became to hectic as she switched from an Afrikaans to English primary school and the travelling from Hazyveiw to Nelspruit started taking its toll. She decided to put all her focus into her school work. Hard work paid off and she has been in the top 3 of her class since Gr 3. But her love and passion for modeling never went away. She still competed in a few competitions and was crowned Miss Riverside mall in 2017 and Miss Junior Mbombela in 2019 to name a few. Fast forward to 2021 and an audition for the International Arts and Talent Showcase was held in Whiteriver. After not having any formal training for almost 3 years, she impressed the judges so much in a mere +- 20 seconds, we left the auditions with a call back to attend the big Showcase event in Jhb. 7 International judges were to decide if they saw enough potential in Karli to give her a second call back to the International Modeling and Talent Association convention to be held in New York City in July 2022. On Saturday 25 Sep at 23:50 she received that call. All 7 judges agreed that she has something that the 300 agents, directors and trainers in New York City, needs to see. And this is where we need your help.
