Hello everyone! Here we are with another new game. This is I Am Machine, an isometric hack & slash roguelite, where runs have this Hades feeling (in terms of combat and upgrades), but story-wise is quite different, with meta-progression being in the form of a base building/upgrading system. The game starts fine, with your basic and special attack and a bunch of upgrades that seem useful but not that interesting. The problem for me comes the more you play the game; enemies start getting tougher and harder to fight, and you barely get anything from it. Also, upgrades are bad or repetitive (or just straight up taken from Hades) and meta-progression seemed GRINDY. Sadly, it takes a while for the game to introduce the more interesting mechanics of the game, but they end up being underwhelming. Just to be clear, I don't think this game is impossible to beat, but, oh man, it wasn't a fun ride after 20 minutes.

I will keep an eye on update, but I don't plan on coming back to this game during its current state.
