Time: 11 p.m.
Location: Grim Pines Park

At 23:00 EST, a distress call was intercepted from Grim Pines Firewatch Tower, originating from an individual identified as Park Ranger Colt and Private Strugen. The transmission indicated possible exposure to an unidentified biological hazard, correlating with ongoing containment efforts within the region. Surveillance teams in the area reported increased abnormal civilian behavior in and around the park, warranting further investigation.

At 23:05 EST, a UH-60 Black Hawk dispatched for reconnaissance and extraction confirmed a Category 2 Biohazard Threat within the park perimeter. Visual confirmation was made of multiple infected individuals moving through the campsite and firewatch tower trails. The private and Ranger, was last seen on the firewatch tower platform.

At 23:15 EST, upon questioning, Ranger Colt admitted to being bitten by an infected individual. Per Containment Protocol Directive K-12, any confirmed or suspected infection requires immediate neutralization to prevent further spread. The extraction team engaged and eliminated the subject via precision fire from the UH-60 Black Hawk.

Upon subject termination, orders were issued to destroy the tower to prevent further biohazard spread and to erase potential civilian exposure. Demolition charge was deployed at the tower base, resulting in structural collapse. No remaining movement was observed from the subject post-collapse.
