MTB Uber Mudfest!!! (4K) 2024-05-26

The 2024 Yorkshire Mountain Bike Marathon was more of a Mudathon.

It's amazing how 400-500 bikes can chew up wet ground and turn it into oozing claggy mud that wraps around your wheels so you can hardly move. The 24 miles was probably the equivalent to 50 based on the actual effort needed to plough (literally) through the mud.

Good fun though and I plan to return for 2025 in the hope of better conditions as the single track sections looked fantastic, flowy and a lot of fun weather permitting.
