Please join us on this episode as NEAR members visit Exeter RI Historical Cemetery #14, where several exhumations of the Tillinghast family took place in December of 1799 - including the body of the beautiful Sarah Tillinghast- during an actual hunt for vampires!
We then revisit the location known locally as "Vampire's Grave" in Exeter RI Historical Cemetery # 22, where the body of 19 -year - old Mercy Lena Brown was taken from a crypt, her heart and liver were removed and burned on a nearby rock, and the ashes were consumed by her ailing brother, 22-year-old Edwin Atwood Brown!
Later on, I was also joined by two curious spectators, who were both enthralled by the true history of what took place in these two cemeteries. And oh, by the way... both of these historical cemeteries are allegedly haunted!
