Hi Friends,


I just touched down in SIN CITY a couple days ago, so I thought why not make a cookie to mark the occasion. In today's video, I show you how to make Giant and Yummy double chocolate chip cookies with red wine. What's better than chocolate and red wine??? If you're of the legal drinking age and you love wine, this cookie is a MUST TRY and perfect for your 4th of July celebrations! See the recipe below:


INGREDIENTS
1 cup unsalted butter, softened
1 cup granulated sugar
1 cup brown sugar
1 tbsp vanilla extract
2 eggs
1/2 cup Cabernet Sauvignon
3 cups all purpose flour
1/4 tsp salt
1 tsp cornstarch
2 tsp baking soda
3/4 cup cocoa powder
1 1/2 cups milk chocolate chips
1/3 cup dark chocolate chips


INSTRUCTIONS
1. In a bowl cream the butter on low speed until smooth
2. To your butter, add in the granulated sugar and brown sugar. Cream butter and sugars together (mix on low speed until sugar has dissolved)
4. Add in the vanilla extract, eggs and Cabernet Sauvignon. Mix until combined. The texture will be lumpy. Set aside
5. In a separate bowl, combine the flour, salt, cornstarch, baking soda and cocoa powder. Mix thoroughly.
6. Combine the flour mixture with the butter mixture from earlier. Mix until a cookie dough forms and no flour is present in the bowl
7. Fold in the milk chocolate chips into your cookie dough
8. Roll the cookie dough into large baseball size balls
9. Place dark chocolate chips on the top of the cookie balls
10. Chill cookie dough in the fridge and preheat oven to 375F
11. Bake cookies for 10-12 minutes
12. Let cookies cool for 10 mins and enjoy!
