Photographing Brown Bears in Wild Alaska, Part 1. The beginning of an AMAZING adventure!

Photographing Brown Bears in Alaska, it's something I've done for years now and yet, it never gets old! I'm back on the beautiful Alaskan tundra with the Bears, Ptarmigan, Wolves and Foxes, what does this year have in store for us!? I can't believe it's been a year already, it just feels so good to be back!

If you haven't followed my channel for very long, let me fill you in! Each summer I spend a couple of weeks in the wilds of Alaska, photographing Brown Bears as they fish, wrestle and play. And each year I have truly amazing and even life-changing experiences in this wonderful, vast landscape. This year, I start the adventure by getting dropped off by the float plane and setting up a larger than ever basecamp with just over 850 lbs of gear. Why so much gear? After setting up camp and scouting the area for a couple of days, I'll be starting my photography workshops for the year out here, and I CANNOT wait! But let's not get ahead of ourselves. Let's start things off with my first 2 days alone in this beautiful wilderness as we photograph the many Bears that inhabit the area.
