𝐋𝐨𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧

Wadi Darbat is the most popular and most visited tourist destination in Dhofar Region. It is loctaed 52 kilometers away and 50 minutes drive from Salalah city.

Wadi Darbat is characterized by its virgin nature and blessed with thick botanical cover. Besides, the wadi has a natural spring. The place is a perfect spot for spending a family day. Visitors can enjoy boat riding and there is no other better place to have barbecue in the region than Wadi Darbat.

There are several restaurants and stalls that sell snack and food such as sweet corn, popcorn, mishkak and fruits.

𝐇𝐨𝐰 𝐭𝐨 𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐡

The wadi is located few kilometers behind Taqa, a beach city in Dhofar Region. It is located on the left side on the road to Tawi Atair.

From Taqa, there is a road sign to Wadi Darbat. Follow the paved tarmac road until you reach the end of the valley. First you will see Darbat cascade waterfalls on the left and after roughly 2 kms you will reach Wadi darbat boating area.There are parking lots before you reach the wadi.

𝐓𝐡𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐜𝐚𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐫

Unlike other tourist spots in Salalah, Wadi Darbat lake will have water throughout the year. Boating is also available throughout the year. However water fall will appear only if there is enough flow in the wadi.
