Which is the better performer when it comes to gameplay and benchmarks? It's the Redmi K20 vs Realme X performance comparison. Watch as these two midrange smartphones go head to head as our testing is over. We tested both the devices and watch our Realme X vs Redmi K20 comparison to find out which one emerged the clear winner.

First, CPU Performance. We evaluate CPU performance using a suite of benchmarks that have built up a reputation in the industry for being extremely reliable. AnTuTu is one such benchmark and here, we see the Snapdragon 730 powered Redmi K20 blasts past the Realme X with a score of 215186, almost 28 percent higher than the Realme X’s 168272. This kind of performance difference is further confirmed by our Geekbench numbers. For single core performance, The Redmi K20 has a score of 2543, 74 percent higher than the Realme X’s 1455. This difference in performance can be attributed to the fact that the big cores on the SD730 are based on ARM’s Cortex A76 while on the SD71, its Cortex A75. Mobile Xprt scores also put the Redmi ahead by anywhere between 17 to 36 percent, depending on the level of photo manipulation. Remember in Mobile Xprt, a lower score is better!

Well, we’ve seen that the Redmi K20 is quite a bit head of the Realme X, we see similar improvements even on the GPU front. GFXBench reported the K20 as 19 to 24 percent fast than the Realm X. But when it comes to the GPU, I’m sure you all want gaming numbers over benchmark numbers. For all you PUBG fans, we found the Redmi K20 to be a great phone for playing PubG. While Realme X is able to handle 30 fps at medium setings just fine, you can bump the graphics higher on the Redmi K20 and still get 30fps. We will be retesting both the phones in Pubg’s new 60fps mode to see where they both lie, but given what we’ve seen, the Redmi K20 seems to be the more impressive choice.

What this means is that the Redmi K20 is definitely a solid performer, it is ahead of the Realme X in almost all respects of performance, but you are also looking at a price difference of Rs 4000 for the 6GB RAM and 128GB Storage variants of both the phones.
