Johnny Nelson Knockouts & Highlights

Johnny "The Entertainer" Nelson was one of the biggest stars in Sheffield. He was trained by the legendary trainer, Brendan Ingle. Ingle trained Herol "Bomber" Graham, and the famous "Prince" Naseem Hamed.
Nelson's style was often touted as being boring, but he had fast hands, a solid defense and was only stopped one in his 12 defeats.
He beat Carl Thompson by TKO in the fifth round in their cruiserweight title fight for the WBO Championship belt.
He also won the Lonsdale title, and the EBU European title. He fought some big names like Corrie Sanders, Carl Thompson, and was scheduled to fight Enzo Macinarelli but pulled out due to an injury with his knee. This knee injury stopped him from boxing altogether, and he retired.

Nelson is now a well respected boxing pundit.
