In this review, we take a look at the vintage 1976 Seiko Lordmatic Special! This is my first vintage watch purchase, and I absolutely love it. Showcasing fundamental elements of Taro Tanaka's "Grammar of Design," this piece is a great example of the roots of both Seiko and Grand Seiko. I feel lucky to have it in my collection. The best part: this watch is affordable with classic sizing, a unique case shape, and a beautiful linen dial.

I really hope that this piece is something that I can pass down to my kids. It's definitely one that is a keeper in my watch collection!
