Soyuz MS-twenty-seven returned to Earth after a remarkable mission that spanned two hundred forty-five days and nearly one hundred four million miles. Key details include the safe landing near Zhezkazgan, Kazakhstan, and the recovery of Russian cosmonauts Sergey Ryzhikov and Alexey Zubritsky, along with NASA astronaut Jonathan Kim. According to Roscosmos, the undocking from the Prichal module, deorbit burn, and descent unfolded as planned.

Scientific research played a major role throughout the mission, with forty-two experiments completed aboard the International Space Station. For Kim and Zubritsky, this journey marked their first visit to the orbital laboratory, while Ryzhikov increased his career total to six hundred three days in space, placing him thirteenth all-time.

Following landing operations, the three explorers were transported for medical evaluations before heading to their respective bases: Karaganda for initial recovery, Houston for Kim, and Star City for the Russian crew.
