How to Add Chapters to YouTube Videos

You can now add chapters to YouTube videos.

Chapters inside a YouTube video make it a lot easier for people to jump to the section they want to learn more about and come back to a section they already watched.

Chapters can be created using timestamps inside of the YouTube description.

Chapters do not have a dedicated setting. You simply put the timestamp for starting a chapter, followed by the title for the chapter.

YouTube will do the rest and create chapters for your YouTube video automatically.

Just make sure you know the timestamps and titles for each chapter when uploading your video, so you can easily add it to the description of the video.
