How does the sub $2,000 AGM Rattler thermal optic perform?

Описание к видео How does the sub $2,000 AGM Rattler thermal optic perform?

The AGM Rattler series of thermal optics routinely get labeled as a “Best Bang for Buck” optic in various YouTube reviews. They are packed with features typically reserved for optics that cost more and are compact in a well laid out in design.

AGM offers 3 different cores levels in the Rattler series. For this video, we wanted to focus on the least expensive 384 core model. Starting at just under $2,000, the TS25-384 would likely be high on the list of possible scopes to guys just getting into thermal devices or looking to add another shorter range thermal without breaking the bank.

So what can you expect for less than $2,000? Honestly, a lot. We’ve been beating on our own personal Rattlers for several months now and they consistently performed better than our initial expectations.

Here’s a quick video showing the TS25-384 from 120 to 300 yards. Keep in mind two important facts. One, like a lot of thermal devices, the Rattlers will compress image quality while recording. So what your eye sees behind the scope looks a little better than what ends up online. Two, by choice the Goblin crew tends to run all our thermals with the contrast settings turned down. This is a personal preference. To us it really helps to speed up rapid detection when scanning larger areas by slightly washing out environmental details. So the scope is capable of better overall image quality/detail if that’s important to you.
