ere's a brief snippet of my day at West Lancs Golf Club watching the likes of Sergio Garcia and the chaps trying to qualify to play in the 152nd edition of The Open Championship at Royal Troon Golf Club. I took a Merseyrail service from Liverpool Central to Hall Road (along with many others!). Some great golf was played in very testing conditions.
