Here is how to fix the glitch with the minmatar Liberation event 2020, thanks to Tau Hopper.

Since the event has specific titans that you must launch fireworks on to get the reward, this has caused issues with the new "log off" feature when switching characters. Each character gets an individual mission to a specific titan and the mission does not update when you use the log off feature to switch characters. This is why it wasn't working for me before. Solve this by hard logging off and your mission will be updated :)
