Kids on Alaska Airlines flight recount 'scary' experience when door plug comes off plane mid-flight

Brady Black, age 7, and his younger sister, Brynlee Black, age 5, were on Alaska Flight 1282 when the door plug flew off mid-flight.

They were traveling back to California with their grandmother Vicki Kreps after they spent Christmas break with her and their grandfather in Washington state.

Kreps filmed the kids afterwards, particularly because her grandson wanted to send a message to other kids how important it is to pay attention to a flight attendant's instructions at the start of a flight.

Both kids, who are seasoned fliers, flew with Kreps the next day back home to their parents.
