"Алёша" is a Soviet-Bulgarian friendship song, referring to the monument to the Soviet soldier, standing in the Bulgarian city of Plovdiv on Bunardzhik Hill. ("Hill of the Liberators") Until 1989 this song was the official anthem of the city of Plovdiv.
