In 1991 Monster Magnet released their first official full-length album "Spine Of God" which occupied my home P.A. and my neighbour's nerves for months. Still my favourite though Monster Magnet never released a weak album. From their psychedelic years to their loudmouth rock like "Space Lord" - all their albums are great!

The song "Nod Scene" was played in my favourite alternative club each saturday, and it was a blast on the dance floor. The DJ was literally drowning the people in dry ice, strobe lights and psychedelic projections on the wall.

If you like psychedelic rock, Spine Of God is a definitive must have. Monster Magnet at their dirtiest, fuzziest, most acid-drenched soundscape years.
