Local skateshops rock and today I'm setting up their new board which looks like it's going to be a mad fun one!! As well as doing that I try and give some reason why I think local shops are really the best way to purchase anything skate related ( for beginner and more advanced skater) and why I always try to shop at mine.

would you rather buy your board online or at your skateshop?
I know that my first board setup was purchased entirely online and even though I got quite lucky with this one i really regret not going to my local store to get some advice and avoid making rookie mistakes.

Board size, truck size, wheel style, abec 5, 7, 9, bones swiss ... that makes for a lot of options that probably make no sense to a beginner and instead of playing the russian roulette game like I did chances are that your local skate shop will be able to help you out making the right choice and that you won't regret buying your first board out there.

But it's not the only reason why a skateshop will always be better to my eyes compared to an online store and I hope that this video will open a discussion about that,
If you like shopping online better maybe tell me why, it might be an interesting discussion and overall I hope that you'll enjoy this video!!!

PS: I haven't been really consistent with the uploads lately and there's a good reason for that, I got a job which messed with my sleep casual a lot and the weather has been crappy but hopefully as I get used to waking up at 4am and the weather comes back to a summer style weather there will be a lot more upload every week!!
