Do not bring bad luck by blowing out candles on your children's birthdays. Do not extinguish Agnidev. Rather teach them to light lamps i.e. spread light. And teach children the prayer of the lamp "Tamaso Ma Jyotirgamaya" (O Fire God, show me the way from darkness to light). All these symbols have a deep impact on the minds of children.
