Was Jack Tramiels Time at Atari Good For the Company?!

When it comes to the different era's of Atari, people love the time of Bushnell, Time Warner and even the more modern era's! But most seem to dislike the Tramiel era the most and blame him for the failure of the Atari 7800, XEGS, Lynx and Jaguar among other stuff. Heck some say he outright killed off the company.

But I'm going to argue that his time with the company wasn't all bad. And I have 4 points to go on in my argument. But will these points make for a sturdy chair to sit upon, or a wobbly table that wont hold my arguments up? Lets find out!

The Atari Network has 3 goals (besides entertainment) that I hope embodies everything the channel does:
1. Bring awareness to Atari, especially the often ignored Tramiel and 7800 era
2. Make sure the hardworking people both new and old (from the old guard at Atari corp to the new developers keeping Atari alive) get the recognition that they deserve for their hard work
3. Preserve the history of Atari in the video game hobby so that it survives long after us
