Saudi Arabia hosted a significant meeting in Riyadh, focused on advancing the two-state solution for the Palestinian issue against the backdrop of the Israel-Hamas conflict in Gaza. The gathering, titled "The Global Alliance for the Implementation of the Two States Solution," attracted representatives from approximately 90 nations and international organizations. Philippe Lazzarini, the Commissioner-General of UNRWA, participated in the talks and highlighted the necessity of the two-state solution as a universally endorsed framework for achieving a just resolution. He stated, "The two-state solution is the internationally agreed framework on what is an intrinsic part of a successful, fair condition." This meeting marks the first in a planned series, with subsequent discussions slated for key cities including Brussels, Cairo, Amman, Oslo, and Ankara, indicating a collaborative international effort to address the longstanding Palestinian issue.
