AQUI Y AJAZZ, MICHEL CAMILO INTERVIEW

I want to humbly share with you this little blurb in my career as a producer. When I met my countryman pianist Michel Camilo during the celebration of the Puerto Rico Heineken Jazz Festival in 2002.

Talk to Michel, is a unique and forgettable experience. His musical knowledge and expertise acquired since leaving Santo Domingo in 1979 to NY to the prestigious Juilliard School of Music in Manhattan. Until his recent achievements in national and international level.

We talked about quite a bit, but I wanted to make a statement to the short time given to television and I divide it into segments. Here is the first. Quiero humildemente compartir con todos ustedes esta pequeña reseña en mi carrera como productor. Cuando me encontré con mi paisano pianista Michel Camilo, durante la celebración del Puerto Rico Heineken Jazz Festival en el año 2002.

Hablar con Michel, es una experiencia única. Sus conocimientos musicales y sus conocimientos adquiridos desde que salió de Santo Domingo el año 1979 hacia NY a la prestigiosa Juilliard School Of Music en Manhattan. Hasta sus mas recientes logros en el ámbito Nacional e internacional.

Hablamos de todo un poco, pero quise hacer un extracto dado al corto tiempo para la televisión y lo he dividido en segmentos. Aquí esta el primero. Mas un tema en vivo con su trío desde el prestigioso Festival De Jazz De Lugano, en Suiza acompañado por Lincoln Goine en el Contra Bajo y Giovanni Hidalgo en la percusión.
