Here I show the finish & some of the components on the guitar, that & play through the different tones this V can put out. It's extremely nice, one of the most expensive guitars I've owned, but that's because I put in extremely high quality components & electronics into this guitar.

I didn't record very much video from this build, but did get some pictures. My work schedule was kind of crazy at the time, so I would pick up where I left of & spend a few minutes at a time working on it. Then all the small parts, that I had been waiting on, all arrived at close to the same time, that sparked a quick finish on the assembly.

Lots of coats of cherry & amber nitrocellulose, went into the finish. I had originally setup to do a sun burst finish, but didn't like the way it was blending together at the color joint. Then I sanded it down & went with taped lines, making to makes to avoid having one color thicker than the other. Then gave it a light sand, before doing the clear coat. I did not skimp on the clear coat, doing multiple layers, light sanding in between coats.

The assembly was pretty easy, since I've redone the wiring & body components on guitars for years now. I have been doing mods & upgrades on guitars, since 2002. This was the first time that I started with a blank canvas to work with.

Since, I setup for a 25.5" scale it left me with only a few options for the type of bridge setup on the guitar. I opted to go with a roller bridge with a stopbar tailpiece. I could have gone with a Wilkin's or Floyd Rose tremolo, but the tremolo that I wanted to use was too big to fit on the body & keep the right scale for the neck. So I ditched the Bigsby tremolo, but I will be using a Bigsby tremolo on a future build, not the next one, but one coming up.
