I purposely vacuumed baking soda into the unit in an attempt to eliminate an odor, but ended up jamming the motor. Luckily I was able to fix it by tearing it apart and vacuuming the motor out. This unit is very tricky to disassemble and I would not recommend disassembly unless you are very comfortable with electrical components.
