India Launches World’s First Indigenous Portable Hospital | Watch

The World’s first portable hospital, ‘Aarogya Maitri Aid Cube’ was unveiled on December 02 in Gurugram, Haryana.
Initiated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and jointly developed by the Ministry of Health, Ministry of Defence, and the National Security Council, the hospital was indigenously designed under the Project ‘BHISHM.’


Having the capacity to treat up to 200 casualties, the portable hospital includes 72 detachable mini-cubes which can be converted into separate surgical stations having the facilities to carry out small operating procedures.
